PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

“Casa da Nora was perfect in every way, we feel privileged to have found this beautiful house and to have had the opportunity to stay here... Our group consisted of two couples, ours with an 18 month old toddler. We found the location and configuration of the house ideal and Miguel was able to provide a cot in one of the 2 main bedrooms. A short 10 minute drive from the beautiful small town of Silves, the house is located in a quiet secluded area surrounded by only a few houses and many orange groves! Silves has two good sized supermarkets, local markets and a handful of nice places to eat for lunch and dinner and of course the 'castelo' makes for a beautiful backdrop and provides amazing views over the area. The amazing beaches are less than 30 minutes away by car. Not only is the house spacious inside, but the north facing bedrooms remained cool during the day which helped greatly. What really surprised us is how lovely and open the outdoor spaces are, a shaded terrace directly outside and with easy access to the kitchen, plus a BBQ which we used every night to cook. The garden and swimming pool are very well maintained and this is where we spent most of our time. The views over the surrounding farmland are beautiful and we were constantly entertained by birds and butterflies gliding in the welcome breeze. We had planned to do more day trips out but we soon found ourselves completely in love with Casa da Nora. Miguel was fantastic, he contacted us on arrival to check we had arrived safely and later to make sure we had settled in and even warned us on a particularly hot day to be careful in the sun which was very thoughtful! We couldn't have wished for a better pairing of house and host...thank you. ”
